10 things to do with your best friend

Well hello there guys.
So I met up with my best friend Tairrie the other day and we had a proper day where it was just me and her taking pictures and having fun and ever since we started college in September that has been quite rare for us. So I thought I'd compile a list of 10 things you can do with your BFF. 

1. Sleepover - Who doesn't love a good sleepover?! Food, movies and staying up all night talking. It's perfect!

2. Go shopping - Even if you don't buy anything, go and see what's out there and have fun with your BFF. 

3. Go out for a drink - Now I know almost everyone immediately thought of alcohol then but nope. I'm actually talking about going to your local Costa and having a hot chocolate and a cozy chat. 

4. Go for a walk - This is one of our favourite things to do! Even if you have no where to go just walk and talk. Go anywhere do something, anything. (We like to go to the fields near our houses or have a walk through the park.)

5. Have a movie marathon - Go buy loads of junk food and snacks and pig out together whilst watching back to back Harry Potter!

6. Just sit and talk at each other's houses - Yes it's really that simple! If you want to talk to your friend go over font restrict yourselves to a phone call. 

7. Stage a mini photoshoot - Set up a camera and pose! You might even find your next Instagram post.

8. Go to a concert together - The last concert I went to with Tairrie was Kaiser Cheifs (an English rock/indie band) and we had so much fun that we decided to see them again on their next tour. 

9. Have a baking day - This is basically what it says on the tin, invite your best friend round and bake some cupcakes or even pizza. 

10. Go to the cinema - Is there a new film out that you wanna see? Invite your BFF to go with you! I'm sure she's just as excited to see Pirates Of The Caribbean 5 in May as you are!

Everyone loves a good holiday. A break from it all with your friends or family, but we also have the frustration of packing. Short story - conflict

I look around for no more than a moment and I am struck with awe at the fascinating people and places around me.  No peace lies in the busy streets of the city; and no chaos in the grass filled fields of the countryside. Both places brimming with different cultures, ethnicity's and individuals despite being neighbours. Two places unique in their own right engage in conflict because of me. I sometimes sit and look across the river that divides the two worlds and watch the murky rubbish-filled water struggle to pass on. The tide of lilly pads lining the banks with nowhere to go. On one side is a simple life and on the other is a technologically advanced one. Both the same yet too different to coexist.
